Delta Air Lines Flight 1770 safely returned to LaGuardia Airport in New York around 2:45 p.m. local time on Sunday, March 22, after the crew reported smoke in the cockpit. The Airbus A220 was headed to Nassau, Bahamas. The FAA will investigate. Contact the airline for additional information.

An air traffic controller instructed Alaska Airlines Flight 294 to perform a go-around at Newark International Airport because FedEx Flight 721 was cleared for the final approach to an intersecting runway. The FAA is investigating the event, which occurred around 8:15 p.m. local time on Tuesday, March 17.

United Airlines Flight 1207 returned safely to Newark Liberty International Airport around 8:40 a.m. local time on Monday, March 9, after striking a bird while departing. The crew reported a cracked windshield and a possible pressurization issue. The Boeing 737 MAX 8 was headed to Jacksonville International Airport. The FAA will investigate. While exiting the deicing pad at Denver International Airport, United Airlines Flight 605 struck a deicing truck around 8:30 a.m. local time on Friday, March 6. This occurred in an area where air traffic control does not manage aircraft. The passengers deplaned and were bused to the terminal. The FAA will investigate. Horizon Air Flight 2117 returned safely to Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport in Kansas around 2:50 p.m. local time on Sunday, Feb. 22, after the crew reported a portable battery pack fire on board. Flight attendants contained the fire with an extinguisher and thermal containment bag. The Embraer 175 was headed to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The FAA is investigating. Commercial Aviation / Newark

After JetBlue Flight 543 safely returned to Newark Liberty International Airport and exited the runway, the crew reported smoke in the cockpit and evacuated passengers via slides. The FAA temporarily paused some arrivals to the airport and will investigate the incident that occurred around 5:55 p.m. local time on Wednesday, Feb. 18. The Airbus A320 was headed to Palm Beach International Airport in Florida and the crew reported an engine issue shortly after departing. You can monitor real-time airport conditions here.
